WEDDING GOWN OF IVORY SATIN AND CHANTILLY LACE
JAMES—REID The wedding took place recently at St. Andrew's Church, Symonds Street, of Kathleen. youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reid, of Dexter Avenue, Dominion Road, to Wynn James, eldest son of Mrs. F. James, and the late Mr. James, of N orthcote. The Rev. Mr. Bertram was the officiating minister, and Mr. T. Sparlingpresided at the organ. The bride wore a frock of ivory satin with a ruched corsage, from which fell m ankle-length skirt of Chantilly lace. Her long veil of tulle was held with a wreath of orange blossoms, and she carried a sheaf of Christmas lilies and maidenhair fern. In attendance on the bride was Miss Manui Reid, niece of the bride, who was frocked in pale apricot satin and lace, with a long uneven hem, and a large hip bow. A picture hat of lace straw, with a large rose beneath the brim, was worn, and she carried it bouquet of lilies. Mr. Cedric James, the bridegroom’s brother, was best man. Mrs. James, the bridegroom’s mother, wore a lace frock, and carried a bouquet of toning flowers.
