DONT'S IN DRESS
When a scarf is worn with a jumper suit, either the handkerchief variety or a long throw-over-the-shoulder one, it always takes its character from the skirt. The dont’s in dress are legion, and they are almost more important than their opposite. Don’t have too many dresses. Don’t have too much trimming. Use her according to your needs and pocket, and let the motto over your wardrobe be; “Be simple, be neat, and never try to be grand.” Miss 1930 will have nothing of the flapper about her. She will be much more subtle and polished, and she will wear black instead of colours.
