CAR DRIVER ARRESTED
Press Association WANGANUI, Monday. As a sequel to the fatal motor accident at a street intersection on Saturday evening, the driver of the car, Georgo Mason Glenn, was arrested today and charged with negligently driving the car and thereby causing the deaths of Alma Joyce Crothers and Michael Connelly. Detective Walsh applied for a remand until February 5, which the magistrate, Mr. J. H. Salmon, granted. Mr. Walsh intimated that the police would be ready to proceed then and t*o take the inefuest at the same time. Bail was allowed.
