PICNIC AT PINE ISLAND The local bodies' employees bej'* their annual picnic at Pine Island o Saturday. About 800 people m*t<M l” trip on the ferry boat Peregrin®* ** had a most enjoyable day. The cmi - ren were well catered for with and ice cream. A good sport® gramme was keenly contested. Andrew s Pipe Band enlivened the ceedings and Scottish dancing greatly appreciated.
