ANNIVERSARY REGATTA

HANDICAPS DECLARED SANDERS CUP BOATS TO RACE Handicaps are declared fox' tlie Auckland Anniversary Regatta, which takes place on Wednesday. The entries, both in the sailing and power-boat events, constitute a record. Added interest is lent by the presence of the Sanders Cup defender and challengers and also the Canterbury boat Betty, winner of three Sanders Cup contests. A big fleet of Tauranga 7ft midgets, and numerous outboard motor-boats will also take part in the regatta. The schooner Huia. to be moored off the Calliope Dock, will be used as flagship. All races will start and finish off the schooner. The flagship will not be thrown open to the general public on account of limited accommodation. A ferry boat will leave the ferry wharf at 1.30 to convey the public round the harbour.
