FAST TIMES EXPECTED
CINDER TRACK RACING BLANDFORD PARK TONIGHT Fast riding and spectacular contests are promised at Blandford Park this evening when another motor-cycle race meeting on the cinders will be staged. All the popular speedsters at this stadium will be seen in action again, including Cyril Walker, who made a track lap record of 18 2-5 s last week. Len Coulthard, who went round in 18 4-ss, and Chas. Goldberg, the former record holder, who covered one circuit in 18 3-5, will also show their speed. The chief race will be the Big Nine championship, which will be run for the Gold Helmet. This will be run in three heats over four laps from a rolling start. The present holder, Cyril Walker, who has twice won this event, is expected to put up fast times this evening to retain the helmet. Handicaps are as follow: IMPROVERS’ HANDICAP First Heat.—B.
