Floods and heavy general rain east from Darling River are predicted by the. State meteorologist. The western districts have benefited incalculably in the last two daysraiu. Further downpours are likely to result. The Barwon River is flooding and a cyclone is developing about the central coast. The rain has lifted in the outback. Huge sums will be saved iu fodder alone. The drought has definitely broken. In Western Queensland 28 stations have reported rain, where seven years of drought had been experienced. The railway bridge over the Cloncurry River was washed away. The river is a ragiug torrent. Graziers say the rain is worth millions of pounds to them.
