Hockin, in Hamilton, has returned to Auckland. * • + Mr. and Mrs. J. William Bailey, of Wanganui, arrived in Auckland yesterday. They intend taking up their residence here. Mr. and Mrs. F. Rose, and Mr. and Mrsfl T. F. Jolly, who have been spendWaikato yesterday after spending a holiday at Devonport. * * * Dr. and Mrs. E. Newton Drier, with Dr. Rose, of Canada, and party, have returned to Auckland from a fortnight’s fishing at Taupo. * * * Mrs. and Miss Pirrit, of Morrinsville, and Miss Lloyd, of Auckland, have returned from a motor trip to Coromandel and Mercury Bay. m m * Mrs. A. Herald, of Ba, Fiji, arrived in Auckland this week. She is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Westwood, of Wapiti Avenue, Mr. and Mrs. F. Rose and Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Jolly, who has been spending some weeks at Devonport, motored back to the Waikato yesterday. * * * Mrs. L. P. Harty, of Taumarunui, is staying with Mrs. L. G. Sharp, of Pukekohe.
