In three months a rolling waste of over 100 acres was filled in and levelled, and the splendid modern buildings in the centre of the picture were opened—a striking tribute to the vision of William Fox. The site is near Beverley Hills, Hollywood, California, and is swept by cool breezes from the nearby Pacific, a magnificent site for a magnificent enterprise.
