Following are the results: WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP First Life, First Round. —Mrs. McIlroy (Haeremai) defeated Mrs. Clawson (Masterton), 26—10; Mrs. Finlayson (Masterton) defeated Mrs. Gardner (Kelburn), 26 —15. Second Life. —First Round: Mrs. Pitcaithley (Hastings) defeated Mrs. Bacx (Hutt), 26—19;* Mrs. Jarvie (Wanganui) defeated Mrs. Moeller (Hataitai), 26—G; Mrs. Watkin (Kelburn) defeated Mrs. Leadbeater (Karori), -6 17. CHAMPIONSHIP DOUBLES First Round. —Mesdames Martin (Ngaroina) and Norton Smith (Central) defeated Mesdame3 Bassett terton) and Poison (Masterton), 26—9; Mesdames Caldow (Wellington) and Henderson (Wellington) defeated Walker (Waimarie) and A. GibK (Patea), 26—2; Mesdames Spinlefc* (Palmerston North) and Boyne (Nor* them) defeated Mesdames Watkin (Kelburn) and McGill (Kelburn). 26—22; Mesdames Bock (Hutt) ana Lowery (Kelburn) defeated Mesdames Boocock (Haeremai) and Mcllroy (Haeremai), 26—16.
