GAOLED FOR SEDITION
INDIAN POLITICAL LEADERS IN COURT FEELING AGAINST GOVERNMENT Reed. 10.18 a.m. DELHI, Thurs. Subhas Chandra Bose, the Bengal Congress leader, and 11 others, were sentenced to a year’s hard labour by a Calcutta magistrate for sedition in connection with holding a procession in August. The magistrate said the intention of the accused was clearly established as spreading disaffection to the point of ending the Government and exciting bitter feelings toward it.
