Obituary
MR. B. TOOKE An old resident of New Plymouth. Mr. Benjamin Tooke. has died at the age of 77. Coming to New Zealand from Suffolk, England, about 60 years ago, he stayed a short time at Timaru before going to New Plymouth. He is survived by three sons and two daughters. MRS. E. W. J. GREGORY IVlrs. Edward William James Gregory, who has died at her home in Seymour Street, Ponsonby, at the a ge of 82, was born in Russell, Bay of Islands, and spent her early life there. She was married in Auckland 34 years •ieo and went to Ruekland, where Mr. Gregory farmed until : j years ago. Mrs. Gregory is survived by her husband, who is 90 years of age, and three daughters. Mrs. IT. J. Reeche, Hamilton. Mrs. J. S. Millar and Mrs. S. Maddaford, Auckland.
