THE PELTZER UPSET
GERMAN ATHLETE MIGHT MEET GOLDING Rec. 11.15 a.m. MELBOURNE, Today. It appears unlikely that Dr. Otto Peltzer, the German athlete, will meet Golding in the 440vds. race, but Golding is applying for permission to run in the SSOyds, in which Peltzer is competing. At an amateur meeting at Shepparton, W. Whyte smashed the Australian record for the three-quarter-mile. Lermond, the American, was second. Time, 3.9 3-5.
