Opening the Empire Marketing Board’s shop in Argyll Street, Glasgow, in which the Dominions are displaying for fortnightly periods, commencing with New Zealand, Mr. W. Adamson, Secretary for Scotland, expressed the opinion that if the displays were equal to the high standard of New Zealand’s, then success was assured. The first half-day of business resulted in the sale of thousands of samples. A house-to-house canvass is being inaugurated.
