ADMIRAL’S NEW JOB.—Admiral Sir Reginald Tyrwhitt has just been appointed Commander-in-Chief at the Nore. Since 1927 he has been Commander in Chief of the China Station. As a commodore, Sir Reginald commanded the destroyer flotillas at the Battle of Heligoland in 1914, and in the Dogger Bank fight the following year.
