PRINCE EDWARD
The big double-feature programme of sound and talking pictures at the Prince Edward Theatre, which has delighted patrons during the past few days, will have its final presentation this evening. The films are “The Jazz Age” and “The Perfect Crime,” starring Clive Brook. From tomorrow the Prince Edward will screen an all-talking mysterythriller dealing with a murder case. This is “On Trial,” starring Pauline Frederick, Bert Lytell and Lois Wilson. Excellent supports are being shown. Being an expert horsewoman. Sue Carol baulked when she was asked to fall from her horse in a scene in “The Lone Star Ranger,” Fox Movietone adaptation of the Zane Grey story. Director A. F. Erickson finally talked her into taking the fall so that the leading man, George O’Brien, could administer first aid and open up a screen acquaintance with Sue.
