“THE SHOW OF SHOWS”
The most novel entertainment ever offered, as well as the biggest motion picture ever made—gorgeous with colour, starry as the heavens with famous personalities—is the Warner Bros. and Vitaphone production “Show of Shows,” in which there are more than 100 headliners. John Barrymore heads the cast, with a magnificent portrayal of a scene from Shakespeare’s “Richard the Third.” one of the famous soliloquies. Jack Buchanan and Beatrice Lillie represent England in the cast, Irene Bordoni brings to it the charm of France, and Georges Carpentier its litheness and urbanity.
