CRICKETERS DENY SELECTOR’S ALLEGATION TRIP TO ENGLAND SYDNEY, Tuesday. The announcement by R. Jones, one of the selectors of the Australian test cricket team, to the effect that the English climate would adversely affect Ponsford, Woodfull, Oldfield and Jackson, is not being taken seriously by these players. All have certificates in their possession from their own medical men declaring that they are as fit as can be and able to stand the stress of the English tour.
