cruelty and leaving her without sufficient money. Lady Heath is the third wife of Sir James Heath. She is a distinguished airwoman, and lias gained widespread fame on account of her aerial enterprise. In 1928 she flew alone jfrom Capetown to London, the first woman to record such an accomplishment. On October 4 of the same year Lady Heath established an official altitude record when she ascended in a light airplane from Croydon Airdrome to a height of 23,000 ft —3,000 ft. above the previous British record. Domestic trouble was revealed recently, when Lady Heath’s creditors unsuccessfully sued Sir James Heath for liis wife’s debts.
