RINKS SECTION PLAY

BOWLING TOURNAMENT CONTESTS AT DUNEDIN Press Association DUNEDIN. Tuesday. The New Zealand Bowling Association was fortunate today for fine weather prevailed for the continuation of the annual tournament. The weather was all that could be desired in the morning, and although the sky became clouded in the afternoon the rain held off, enabling the full programme to be carried out. The day was devoted to completion of section play in the rinks competition. These games had been badly interfered with by rain, but by rearrangement of the programme the committee was able to make up leeway and the position at present is that everything is up to schedule. Tomorrow post section play in the rinks competition will be started. These games will be conducted on the automatic two-life principle, two games having to be lost before any rink drops out of the competition.
