DAVIS AND LINDRUM LONDON, Sunday. Clark McConachy (New Zealand) defeated Willie Smith in their billiards match by 23,107 points to 22,666. McConachy made breaks of 491 and 444, and Smith breaks of 526 and 510. There was a keen finish. Smith, fighting to the last, was within 150 points of McConachy in the afternoon. Playing against Davis, Lindrum has scored 15,600, including breaks of 1,761 and 502. Davis (in play) has made 12,074, including breaks of 623 and 634. A feature of Lindrum’s play was his 33rd break of over 1,000. He compiled 1,761 in S 3 minutes. It included 71 close cannons.
