“THE HAWK’S NEST” AT LYRIC
The Council Room of a Chinese dignitary in the heart of the Oriental district of a great American city is one of the effective scenes in “The Hawk’s Nest,” now showing at the Lyric Theatre. It is one of the most striking sets ever constructed in a studio. iClilton Sills is star of this picture, which shows him as the secret leader of the devoted followers in the underworld. His entire purpose in developing a reputation of mystery and implacability is to clear a friend of a murder charge. Doris Kenyon plays the feminine lead, opposite Sills. Montagu Love is the heavy, and Sojin is a strange Oriental figure. “The Fleet’s In,’* a breezy comedy drama starring Clara Bow, is the second attraction. This is one of Clara’s typical romances of two men and one girl, the men this time being navy men.
