A T Otahuhu Kohara, who is now under Sid Groat's charge, was given a useful workout and the manner in which the black pacer did the job was pleasing to his party. Not so pleasing, however, was Kohara's Wellington handcap, and Mr. Webb's horse was allowed to drop out. Kohara’s form over two miles for some time past has not been of sufficient calibre to warrant his continual 4.24 mark—time that the son of Cathedral Chimes has never yet proved his ability to encompass.
