OLD MAN’S SUICIDE

DROWNED IN LAKE From Our Own Correspondent . HAMILTON, Sunday. Suicide by drowning was the verdict returned by the coroner, Mr. Wyvern Wilson, after hearing the evidence concerning the death of Abraham Firth Wilcock, a farmer, aged 70, of To Kowhai, who was found drowned in Hamilton Lake this morning. The evidence showed that Wilcock was missed from a private hospital, and a few hours later was found drowned at the edge of the lake.
