MINISTER OF LANDS
TO VISIT WAIMARINO From Our Own Correspondent. TAUMARUNUI, Saturday. The Minister of Lands, the Hon. G. tV. Forbes, has informed Mr. F. Langstone, M.P. for Waimarino, that he will visit the electorate during the coming week, as follows: Mr. Forbes will arrive at Ohakune on January 21, and next day will meet deputations in connection with the Ohakune and Raetihi Borough Councils and other local bodies at those places. Mr. Forbes will lunch at Raetihi. and then proceed to Raurimu to meet the Kaitieke County Council, and will spend the night in Taumarunul. On January 23 he will go to Matiere and Ohura and other places to be arranged and local bodies will be conferred with. He will be back in Taumarunui in the evening, and will catch the Limited for Wellington that night. Luring his visit the Minister will be given every opportunity of considering the requirements of the electorate.
