DEATH OF PROFESSOR
AUSTRALIA LOSES NOTED SCHOLAR ADELAIDE, Sunday. The death has occurred of Dr. Thorburn Robertson Professor of Biochemistry and Physiology in Adelaide University. He was a distinguished scholar and research worker. His age was 45. Dr. Thorburn Brailsford Robertson was born at Edinburgh in 18S4, and went to Australia at the age of 10. He took high honours at Adelaide University, and became assistant in Physiology at the University of California, and in 1917 professor of Biochemistry tnd Pharmacology there. He went to Toronto University in 191 S, and returned to Adelaide University in 1919.
