HEAD-ON COLLISION

FOUR MOTORISTS INJURED ACCIDENT TO RACE PARTY From Our Oicn Correspondent KAWAKAWA, Today. Four persons were admitted to hospital this morning as the result of a motor smash on the north side of Hikurangi. A car driven by Mr. A. Barable and one driven by Mr. P. Webb crashed in a head-on collision. Mr. Barable was accompanied by his wife, two children and three men, Messrs. H. Jamieson, A. Harold and S. Bowyer, who were going to the Kawakawa races. Mrs. Barable was badly cut about the face and one child was similarly injured. The driver was badly cut on one hand and ribs were broken. # The other passengers received a shaking and bruises. The driver of the other car was uninjured, but Ms mother, who was in the front seat, received a severe gash on her nose, which was also broken.
