Gloria Swanson has never yet appeared in a photographic study with her nine-year-old daughter, Gloria. The feminine lead will be acted by Sally O’Neill. ... Animated cartoons in the talkies have proved so successful, says the publicity department of Columbia pictures, that a series known as “Silly Symphonies” is shortly to be provided. The talkie ejid of the cartoons is provided by synchronised records. Marjorie AYhite, the fascinating little musical comedy star who came to Fox from New York where she was starred in “Spring Fever,” has proved such a hit in “Sunny Side Up,” the Janet Gaynor-Charles Farrel musical comedy, that Fox Films has engaged her for a term of several years. ... Work has just been completed on the original Fox Movietone musical comedy, “Sunny Side Up.” Janet Gaynor will again be seen featured .vith Charles Farrell in this production. The recording being dODe, Miss Gaynor is planning a trip to Hawaii and Farrell has already departed on a cruise aboard his yawl Flying Cloud.
