IN FUTURE PRODUCTIONS The genuine dramatic value of colour m motion pictures and the lifelike presentation of objects and characters on the screen under the new improved photographic processes will result in the production of all future talking pictures in colour, according to Mr. Jesse Pictures"' Vlce -President of Paramount “Colour brings life,” says Mr. Dasky, “and the production and presentation of musical plays on the screen cry for colour. I might offer as an example our new all-coolur picture ‘The Vagabond King,’ in which Dennis Iving is starred. In this, colour is used to heighten dramatic moments and to put the audience in the spirit of the lighter scenes. Colour has a genuine dramatic value and so enhances the telling of the story that I see the end of black and white pictures in the near future.”
