TE AWAMUTU AERO CLUB
GROUND LENT FOR AIRDROME : From Our Oiun Correspondent TE AWAMUTU, Friday. The monthly meeting of the Te Awamutu Aero Club was held on Thursday evening. Mr. A. Hanna presided, and there was a good attendance. Appreciation was expressed of the offer of Messrs. Taylor Bros, for the free use of the old polo ground as an airdrome. Mr. E. Bryant was elected to fill the vacancy of secretary and treasurer caused by the resignation of Mr. S. Smith. Three new members were elected. The secretary was instructed to obtain prices and details of two-seater light planes suitable for club use. and to secure information regarding a suitable hangar. The next meeting will be held on Thursday,. February 6, wljen Captain McKenzie’s lecture on “The Theory of Flying” will be given.
