LABOUR’S PICNIC

OUTING AT PINE ISLAND Sports and musical programmes have been arranged for the annual picnic of the Auckland Labour Representation Committee at Pine Island on Sunday, January 26. The Peregrine leaves the ferry tee at 10 a.m. The picnic will be under the management of the committee of the combined branches of the Labour Party in Auckland. Tickets are available from branch secretaries, delegates, the headquarters of the party, Foresters’ Building, Wellesley Street West, or Mr. J. Hoole, the picnic secretary. The Waterside Workers’ Band will be in attendance and a sports programme will be conducted. Other competitions will be held. The charge for adults at the outing will be 2s, and children Is.
