SWIMMING CHAMPS.

NOMINATIONS FROM WANGANUI WANGANUI, Saturday. Wanganui’s representatives at the New Zealand Swimming Championships to be held at Greymouth next week are Misses Natalie Stratton and Lucy Broadliead. There is no sprint swimmer in the River City fast enough to bo worthy of nomination for the New Zealand Championships. Dowsett is not swimming this year. Hopes are entertained that Miss Stratton will carry off the ladies sprint events and Miss Broadhead the breast-stroke championship.
