WOMAN’S WAY
MARRIES MAN FOR STEADY LIFE INCOME Reed. 10 a.m. LONDON, Wednesday Miss Carol Morrison, a woman solicitor, speaking to the Fabian Society, revealed a widespread habit of young women marrying in order to get what is really a life pension. There are many magistrates who grant these women the maximum allowance of £2 weekly, when the man’s income is only £3.
