OVERSEAS ATHLETES WANTED
FOR N.Z. VISIT Press Association WELLINGTON, Thursday. As a result of an impromptu conference on January 8 between four members of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association and Mr. E. S. Marks, of Australia, a definite offer was made by cable to the Victorian Amateur Athletic Association regarding proposed appearances in the Dominion of Dr. Otto Peltzer and Leo Lermond. So far there has been no reply. Mr. Marks, however, who was present at a meeting of the council tonight, has agreed to approach the Victorian Association at Melbourne on his arrival there next week, if no reply is received before liis departure on Friday.
