STRUCK BY LORRY
GIRL SERIOUSLY HURT Press Association WELLINGTON, Wednesday. While running across the Hutt Road at Kaiwarra this Afternoon, Joan Haynes, aged about four or five years, was knocked down by a motor-lorry. She is sufferng from a fracture of the skull and a severely lacerated wound on the forehead. Her condition is reported as serious. She had regained consciousness at midnight.
