COLOURED HOOKS

A new and useful series of hooks for which there will be many domestic purposes has not long been introduced. Instead of screwing into wall or shelf in the usual manner, they are provided with a strong pin that transfixes the hook in a diagonal direction. This pin Is driven into the wall in this manner, strongly fixei without damage to the wall, and is capable of bearing a much greater strain than a hook which is screwed in along the horizontal. This is not the only advantage, for the hooks are available in a series of bright colours so that the kitchen and cupboard where they are in use are pleasing as well as practical. The finish of the hook is a cellulose enamel, which wears well and is easy to keep clean.
