A SEA LOVER
Don t you love the scent of pine trees? Tea-tree has a beautiful perfume, too, but best of all I love the scent of the sea. Perhaps I’ve inherited my love of the sea from my grandfather, who was a sailor. I never knew him, but I am sure he must have loved it in all Its moods, as I do. People say it is treacherous. Ido not think so. I think the sea is more to be pitied than anything, for always it seems to be searching for something it cannot find. —MAID OF THE PINES.
