Donaldson at the Education Board today. She was commenting on the refusal of the department to provide a y -mall residence for assistant teachers ac Awanui. The department saw no 1 eason why the teachers could not live Kauaia and travel to school by bicycle or gig. I think that the department should subsidise the teachers to some extent,’* Mrs. Donaldson declared. rhe chairman. Mr. A.
