FOUND DROWNED

MAN WITH ROPE ROUND NECK VISITOR TO THAMES RACES From Our Own Correspondent THAMES, Today. The body of Thomas Barlow, of Putaruru, was found floating near Burke Street Wharf at three o'clock yesterday afternoon. A rope was tied round the neck and a piece of iron was attached to the other end. No money was found on the body, but a number of totalisator tickets were found in the pocket, lie was last seen at the Thames races on Monday. Ilis watch had stopped at seven minutes to six.
