WOMEN INSPECTORS
EDUCATION IN DOMINION Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, Monday. Five hundred school teachers from all parts of the Dominion attended the opening of the summer school today, at which the Minister of Education, the Horn H. Atmore, officiated. The Bffnister reviewed the educational conditions in New Zealand, and said it was his intention, as soon as finances permitted, to remove the discrepancy existing between the salaries of headmasters of primary schools and of secondary schools. In his address, the Minister said it was intended to appoint women inspectors of schools.
