EVEN “CONDEMNED” HAS A THEME SONG
Despite a decision by its producer, Samuel Goldwyn, not to have a theme song in “Conjemned,” the impression made by the marching song of the prisoners prompted Mr. Goldwyn to publish the piece known as “Song of the Condemned.” The melody is said to be based on the tunes sung by the convicts in the French penal colony. "Condemned,” starring Ronald Colman, is coming soon to Auckland.
