“BROADWAY BABIES” AT GRAND
Alice White. First National-Vita - phone star, wins new honours in her latest starring vehicle, “Broadway Rabies,” which is now at the Grand Theatre. Miss White, who has advanced rapidly since entering pictures two year* ago, has the finest vehicle of her career in this picture, the stpry of a dancing girl on gay Broadway. Intimate scenes of theatrical life in theatrical boardinghouses, rehearsal halls, and on the stage of a big Broadway theatre, are shown in sight and sound. Mervyn Le Roy directed this picture, which is fully talking, singing and dancing. Charles Delaney plays opposite the star, and Sally Ellers and Marion Byron head the east.
