BRADMAN INJURED
STRUCK ON TEMPLE WITH CRICKET BALL INTER-STATE MATCH SYDNEY, Thursday. In a Sheffield Shield cricket match today between New South Wales and South Australia the famous young batsman Don Bradman was severely hurt. He received a terrific blow on one of his temples from a ball and was unable to continue playing for some time and medical attention had to be provided for him. When stumps were drawn. New South Wales, in its first innings, had made 403 runs for seven wickets (Love 38. McCabe 81, Fairfax 29, Bradman 47, Allsop not out 123, Everett not out 37).
