Now a New Zeealand selector, and in his day an outstanding leader of the New Zealand team, N. C. Snedden (Auckland)* first came into prominence as a member of tho New Zealand team which toured Australia in 1913-14, when, although still in his teens, he was second only to Dan Reese as an all-ro under.
