FINAL OF TOURNEY From Our Own Correspondent WHANGAREI, Thursday. The final of the North Auckland Centre bowling tourney was decided on the Whangarei greens this afternoon. Ideal conditions prevailed. In the finals, McMahon, Southern, Allen and Coburn, 24, defeated Wilson, Crane, Donaldson and Coote 16. The winners were presented with a large set of four silver cups, and the runners-up with a smaller set by A. M. Steadman, the president. This is the second time Coburn has scored in the championship, having won last year. The skips both suitably replied.
