N.Z. LAMB AT SMITHFIELD
A N average price of 10!d a lb was received for the first shipment of Auckland lamb sold on the Smithfield market this season. The consignment was sent Home by Messrs. Sutton and Sutton, of Auckland, and made up to 11|d a lb. As this was a special shipment for a special demand, prices for lamb now going into the works cannot be based on it.
