MILLIONS FOR BUILDING
ACTIVITY IN WELLINGTON Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Permits for buildings in Wellington to the value of £2,490,486 were issued last year. The figures are taken from contract prices. In 1928 tha value also exceeded £2,000,000, and in 1927 was just under that total. Tha average for the three years was a little over this sum. Appearances are that this year will be equally busy, if the new railway station and National Museum are started. Three large hotels and one theatre are also planned.
