• MR. S. J. FOSTER The death occurred at Cambridge early this morning of Mr. Sydney John Foster, a well-known carrier. He had lived in the Cambridge district for the past 12 years and had not been in good health for some time. He leaves a widow and five sons and two daughters, all of Cambridge. MRS. M. MOONEY The death of Mrs. Margaret Mooney, wife of Mr. William Mooney, Seddon Street, Pukekohe, occurred on Tuesday at the age of 70 years. Born in County Armagh, Ireland. Mrs. Mooney, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard McGahan, came to New Zealand at the age of 13 years. She resided at Otahuhu and 50 years ago removed to Tuakau, subsequently going to Mercer. After her marriage to Mr. Mooney she went to reside at Ohinewai, and went to Pukekohe 16 years ago. Mrs. Mooney was a prominent member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Mr. T. Mooney, Auckland, Mr. W. Mooney, Taumarunui. Mr. C. H. Mooney, Pukekohe, and nine daughters—Mrs. Gilford. Wellington; Mrs. White, Taumarunui: Mrs. Richards, Feilding; Airs. Goodwin. Auckland; Mrs. Donnelly. Devonport: Airs. Morris. Auckland: Sister AI. Alban, Sacred Heart Convent. Christchurch; Miss C. Mooney, Auckland, and Aliss M. Mooney, Pukekohe. There are 15 grandchildren. j
