HAND CAUGHT IN MACHINE
MAN’S FINGER AMPUTATED From Our Own Co'rrespoadent WHANGAREI, Today. Yesterday, IT. Pitman, a worker at the Portland cement works caught his hand between a revolving table and the ! wall. His hand was badly lacerated. ! I-Ie was admitted to the Whangarei District Hospital suffering from severe ; shock. His index and middle finger i suffered most and the index finger was nputated this morning.
