Nelson lias forwarded the following telegram to Sir Maui Pomare In Wellington: “A radio message received from Mr. Hall Skelton states that a strong European committee has been formed and an indignation meeting will be held on Thursday at the Europeans’ Market Hall. The ghastly shooting has opened wide the old wounds. There is complete unity among £.ll parties and the Samoan women are active organising a new movement which is unparalleled in the history of Samoa Tuimalealilfano is recovering. Faumuina was grazed by a bullet across the small of the back. Two of mv witnesses in the "Herald" case have been killed.”
